Some people can learn with their own mistakes. OMG was rushed, if what Axl said is true, and the album was far from being done. This time, is a bit different. The band is more solid (I mean, with the same members for a while), there are plenty of recorded stuff, they already showed how the new guys can play the old songs, the fans already know some of the new songs...

This time, he knows it's a matter of showing the new album or nothing.

Before you get your panties in a twist, this doesn't necessarily mean the album is far from complete or anything.. whilst mixing or mastering or whatever the fuck they do, Axl may have written another song he wanted to record, or wanted to redo a small part, or maybe have Richard on some lead which Bucket had.. we just don't know so it's not worth assuming anything. I am just happy the ball is definately rolling, that's enough for me after a while of concern that it had stopped.

This lunatic has been trying to record a Gnr rercord since 1994! Musicians coming and going is immaterial at this point. The goal has been the same since 1994-release a Gnr cd. Take it from point A to point B. The only constant has been the alleged leader-Captain A as his lackies call him. This is truly one of the most fucked up situations EVER in rock history.
