Fortus will be back in studio for GnR this month

Richard Fortus has told members of www.gunsnrosesonline.de (in person) that he will be flying to Los Angeles after his last Nena gig (07/12) to do some more work on Guns N'Roses forthcoming album, 'Chinese Democracy', which is still unfinished.

A recent hoax on Amazon.com is still continuing to fool many GN'R fans into thinking that the release of Chinese Democracy is imminent. However, Geffen (US), Polydor (UK), Sanctuary and members of GN'R have told Splat that the Amazon information is incorrect and totally baseless.

For me it's an EXELLENT news! I know it may delay the album but if it's for more Fortus guitar playing on the album, so I say yes.
I hope he will re-record and/or re-write the Buckethead's parts. Richard Fortus is one of the greatest guitarist?in the world.

Maybe Im mistaken, but if "SOON" really was the word, there wouldnt be anymore guitar work to be recorded still..

I wonder what the band members think when they get a phone call from Axl saying, "Hey Richard, you know that guitar part you've recorded about a million times already? Yeah, we'll I'm gonna need you to come in and play it a few more times just to make sure that we've got it right." I wonder if any of the guys have said to Axl that enough is enough and it's time to stop the madness.

I think that these recording sessions must be the "last minute details" like said by Richard a few days ago...

I think they can release the disc sometimes in march/april/may.... maybe the first single in march... then the album... and in june first gig at RIR-Lisbon

Am Samstag, den 3. Dezember, ergab sich die Gelegenheit, Richard nachdem Nena Konzert zu treffen.
Er nahm sich vor dem Hotel kurz Zeit f?r uns um unsere Fotos zu signieren.
Nachem wir gesehen haben, dass Richard einige Sache mit "See you soon" bzw. mit "See you in '06" signiert hat, kamen wir auch auf Chinese Democracy zu sprechen.

Er wird nach der Nena Tour, zur?ck nach Los Angeles fliegen um noch ein paar Aufnahmen f?r das Album zu machen.
Die Arbeiten an dem Album gehen also weiter.
Richard selber machte aber einen sichtlich positiven Eindruck auf uns, was Guns N' Roses betraf - so dass wir davon ausgehen, dass wir doch "bald" das wohl teuerste Album der Welt in der Hand halten werden.
