Hello all,
My band Rayfield recently entered a contest to open for Bedouin Soundclash (a Canadian Band) here in my home province of Newfoundland. We won, and the show was great. Now we have to "compete" against three other bands in an attempt to make it to the Warped Tour this Summer.
Before this gets all "Voting sucks," let me tell you about the contest:
We won the first part based totally on music. Hundreds of bands entered, and we were chosen by record executives and radio personalities in Toronto, based solely on two of our own original songs. Now it's up to people to vote and decide who goes to the warped tour. I think American Idol has totally ruined the whole idea of voting for everyone, but your help would be REALLY appreciated. If you like our music, please vote. If not, well thanks for listening.
