2000 is a milestone don't you agree? 2000 dead (and that's not counting Iraqi civilian deaths) and Iraq is still in choas, these people are getting killed for nothing.

Don't forget about the 15k or so that have been wounded, some of which would have died if not for modern medicine's availability near the front. But hey, at least it's a noble cause, right?

For the purpose of deposing a government that was not a threat to us, we have poured 2,000 good men and a projected $750 Billion down a rat hole that overruns with blood.
But the Bushites will proudly point to the "passed" Iraqi constitution, failing to mention that virtually all Sunnis either boycotted it or voted against, thus ensuring a civil war will continue on with no end in sight. There is no plan to secure the country; no exit strategy; no funds (other than borrowed) to rebuild it; no idea, really, of how we might know when we have "won" the conflict.

Thats the probably in the most simplest definition SLC, except I dont see there ever being an end in sight. I truly think back in 2003, the US thought they'd be able to make this an in and out invasion, no way did they see themselves still in the trenches going on into 2006.
It really dont matter a fuck to Bush though. He got his re-election, he's getting his oil money, doesnt give a shit how in debt he's driving his country and it's economy (aint his fucking money), and he sure as hell dont give 2 shits about the dead american bodies. Fucking cowards, they send over 18 year old marines with minimal training and keep the veterans who could have controlled the hysterics slightly better at home.
Bush, you get your cowardly ass over there with your HK-47 and see how you hold up......BITCH

Halliburtons stock doubled since the war began.
Chenney's stock options went from 440k to 8 million.
Rice just said we may very well be in Iraq another 10 years.
Go figure.

Well, we have been there three years and have 2000. So I would guess that it would probably be around six. Of course, you would have to factor in that the numbers would probably be smaller from here on out since the invasion is already over.

Yes. They let Bush get away with his war. But as Truman once said, "the buck stops here."

To me, Chenney is the president, Bush is just his sock puppet..always has been.
Its really sad to realize, but the country truly is run by a bunch of criminal whose only motivation to do anything for their country must have some hidden financial gain for them.

We have been witness to one of the biggest power grabs in US history with this Bush Cartel. They are trying to take away rights and they keep giving millions to their corporate buddies at the expense of the tax payers. The world opinion of us is at an all time low. It is a mess but the Bush Cartel sees none of this because it does not fit into their world view. They won't condemn torture. Now we are rattling our sword at Syria and Iran. How much more can this country take?

yes maybe the low figure is more of an indication of how strong Iraq's army and the insurgents are, i.e. not very

Its not that I don't blame Bush, but I fail to see people like you hold anyone else accountable. I'll say it: Bush has been a failure, and we never should have waged this war.
Now lets hear you spread some blame to someone that isn't right-wing and part of the administration.

Congress may have let him go to war but the UN were against it from the beginning.
Actually that is incorrect. The UN is one that passed resolution 1441 because it believed that Suddam had WMDs. After countries such as France and Russia said that they would veto any resolution the US attempted to pass to enforce 1441, the US decided to go to war. There was never a vote on the war at the UN.
