« Reply #27 on: May 28, 2003, 09:04:05 PM »

I have seen almost all the bands mentioned so far, the list is two long especially when I have seen GNR 14 times Aerosmith 11 times, Metallica 4 times, Pink Floyd 11 times......many other bands numerous times......plus ...shit well over 150 other bands. [peace] [beer] [yes]

WOOPS, I used to keep track back in high school and keep like a log of the shows dates etc.......by the time I graduated in 1988 I had seen over 100 shows..between 1985 and 1988. I am kinda bummed that I lost that log somewhere in time I would love to see it again....just to remember but I remember most shows.....there are a few black outs like I had almost forgotten that I went to an AC/DC show 2 yrs ago at the garden ...that was a fun night. [peace] [beer] [yes]

So Axl, when are we getting a new album- 2023?! ;)

« Reply #29 on: May 30, 2003, 02:17:02 PM »

New GN'R (last November - what can I say, dream come true)
Metallica (during Reload tour - Toronto Molson Amphitheater sucks for a concert)
Offspring (during Ixnay... tour, or in other words while they were still great - the most fun I've had at a concert)
Megadeth (during Hero tour - disappointed in the turnout)
+ some other bands you wouldn't know about.

I wanted to see Iron Maiden this summer, but I won't be home then, so that sucks big time (2nd time I'll miss them).  Also, I thought about Metallica too, but for floors I need lots of cash (at least $100 US) just to see 1 band I like of the 5.

Metal is better than ever - try Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Dragonforce, Children of Bodom, Kamelot, Symphony X, Stratovarius, Heavenly, Dream Theater, Dimmu Borgir etc.

The Rolling Stones--In Pontiac, Michigan. They were my first concert, in the winter of '89 during their Steel Wheels tour. I was 16, jumped on a Greyhound bus and travelled through a white-out blizzard for five hours through northern Michigan. It was worth it.  [ok]

I've also seen:

Soundgarden
Nine Inch Nails
U2
Metallica
Lenny Kravitz
Colin James
54/40
Madonna
Jeff Healy
Gordon Lightfoot
BB King
The Tragically Hip
