three parts to this thread im afraid guys...

firstly what gigs or festivals  have you been  to or are you going to this year... and secondly what gigs have you been to in the past and finally whos the best live act youve seen? okay ill start us off...

this year ive been to the isle of wight festival which featured david bowie, the who, stereophonics and jet ect, ive also been to cardiff millenium stadium to see the rhcp (support came from james brown) and in a couple of weeks im going to the v festival where the strokes, the pixies, badly drawn boy, kings of leon and jet are playing amongst others. thats probably it for this year unless guns play....

in the past ive also seen u2 (webly stadium 1997), fun lovin criminals (bulldog bash 2000 + 2003), jamiroquai (birmingham nec 2001), rhcp, placebo, charlatans, david gray, coldplay (v fest 2001), badly drawn boy, primal scream, the coral, ian brown (v fest 2002), charlatans, robert plant ,ash (isle of wight 2002) reef, feeder, terrivision (bulldog bash 2001) thats just what i can remember off my head some of the dates may be inacurate but some bands ive seen 3 and 4 times and im not even a big fan of some of them!!!!

the best gig i went to was probably the chilis at cardiff. that kicked!!  :rockon

id also like to add that its my mission to see guns live. ive been waiting over a decade to see em and i had tickets once in 2001 i think and they cancelled. Angry

I've never been to a gig!!  Sad  Cry Before you laugh, I'm not sad! I'm only 13 so haven't had a chance to go to any. I really want to go to the Velvet Revolver gig in London in september and Dad's gonna try and get tickets, but not sure if its sold out or not!

Let me start off my saying I am not much of a concert go-er.  Hence, my rather short list.  These days, I would only see a VR or GnR concert.  Here's hopin' that either or arrive to a stadium / arena / baseball park (wherever, I'd be there!) once again.

Okay, here we go...

Johnny Cash 1988
Guns N Roses 2002
Velvet Revolver 2004

Yeah, like I said, I am not much of a concert go-er Smiley

I havn't been to any concerts this year so far, because ive been working fulltime at two different jobs and just havn't found time. However I am going to see Prince on the 28th at the ACC in Toronto, Evanescence, Seether & Three Days Grace in Toronto as well later this summer, and Rush at the end of August at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto.

Ive seen seen Bon Jovi twice, once at the ACC and once at the Molson Amphitheatre, both in Toronto. Everclear and Nickelback at the Congress Centre in Ottawa, i saw U2 in '92 in Toronto, The Red Hot Chili Peppers & Stone Temple Pilots at Six Flags in '98, and both The Tea Party & Sloan at the Grand Theatre in Kingston.

So far, the Chili Peppers & STP were the best of any concert.. ok
