Ok, RnT tried this was back in May of 2004, so all credit goes to him for this idea, but whats the concensus on trying again? 18 months on I think its fair game to try once more. Here's the original list of questions Mysteron agreed he would pass on:

The 10 questions I'll post

1) How are you?
2) What new music are you currently listening to and what was the last CD you bought?
3) What's the worst hit song you've heard in the last ten years?
4) Of all contemporary singers, rock, pop, even country, who is the one you'd like to duet with?
5) What do you think of your bandmembers solo music and have you been to any of their shows?
6) What's the thing you enjoy the most doing during the day?
7)What are your thoughts on having Arnold Schwarzenegger as your governor?
Has your impression of the internet changed over the past few years or do you still consider it a garbage can?
9) What makes you laugh?
10) What are your wishes for the future, and do you have any information or comments you would like to share with your fans?

We may want to update the questions given all thats happened (or not) since way back. And naturally we need some help in getting the questions to Merck.

Personally I don't like the question about Arnie, think its a little cheesy.

I came up with question 9 Wink

I figure if there was even an outside chance of him replying, he would have when we first tried it. But why not again? The question list ooks fine except for the Arnie one.

Ha, ha you guys are such great pretenders. Why don't you just ask him the question everybody is dying to ask, without beating around the bush?

1) "When is Chinese Democracy coming out?"

P.S: The Arnold question should be dropped, as is with any political one. Who cares what Axl Rose thinks about the US President?

Not me. As if someone would have asked him that in the earlier years!

As for the CD question, well the initial thinking was we'd leave that out, he'd probably volunteer the info if he wants otherwise just ingore the question

Who cares about any of that crap? There's one question that matters:

1) When are you going to get off your fat, lazy ass, stop taking yourself so seriously, and do some work? You're a goddamn entertainer, you petulant bum.

I think he'd be very responsive were he presented with that query.

Hi RnT

Can you remember why it all fell apart last time? I seem to remember someone saying he considered it but something put Axl off the idea

Hello Mysteron, long time no see Smiley what do you mean exactly? That we will receive responses to the original questions when the time is right? or thet an oportunity will be givin to us for something like this at a later date, but not right now?

Personally I don't think it would be a good idea to ask him personal questions, nor questions about the failed 2002 tour.

If this goes ahead how about this question.

Were you angry when you found out about the IRS leak to the Eddie Trunk Radio show? Can you tell us the names of the other songs on that demo CD?

I like that one Neemo

When is the right time Mysteron? I agree with RnT about some kind of clarification of whether he is prepared to talk to us at the right time. Right now even the slightest acknlowledgement would be a kind gesture.

If Axl won't answer would management care to give some kind of update at the end of the year? Can we put more formal questions to them about the band?

Can the questions be made as a single sticky thread or posted at a prominent place on this website?  That way, as and when the time is ready, the right person can simply unlock the thread and add the answers. Every so often we can debate whether they need to be updated, and it would also give us the opportunity to ask more adventurous questions.

I'm gonna write to Jim'll fix it  hihi
