The last song on each CD... Hints?

I remember someone talking about this on GNR Online a few years ago.. So I figured I'd bring it up.

The last song on each Guns N Roses CD foreshadows what is to come on the next CD...

AFD: Rockit Queen is definitely a two part song... One part heavy, and one part "nice."

Lies: Lies was a 2 part CD, one being really heavy and raw, while the other half was laid back acoustic music.
Lies ends off with One In A Million, which was the first song to feature acoustic piano in it...

Use Your Illusion 1: The acoustic piano pops up on several songs, and is most definitely the biggest change in sound from Appetite.
UYI 1 ends off with Coma, a very long and complex song.

Use Your Illusion 2: Most of the songs were very long (much longer on average than UYI1), and this CD had more complex songs like Breakdown, Locomotive and Estranged than UYI1 had...
This CD ends off with My World, a song that was totally ahead of its time, being that it was the first major commercial Industrial release (The Downward Spiral was still 3 years away...)

So... Should it really surprise you that Chinese Democracy was supposed to have Industrial influences? People should have saw it from the start based on the previous CDs.

Axl was a big Nails fan as far back as 90/91. It's no secret that he wanted to have elements of that direction at one point. In 2006? Who knows?

Yup.  Spaghetti Incident ends with 2 tracks in 1, so Chinese Democracy is going to be a double disc.  I thought everyone knew that.

Axl did like NIN in '90/91, but remember, that NIN only had Pretty Hate Machine out at the time... It wasn't until Broken came out in 92that Trent really started mixing rock and industrial. Most songs on Pretty Hate Machine were pure keyboard/drum machine.


I think the whole last song thing is a pretty cool coincidence. To me, it certainly beats another "Can we ever understand the Messiah's aka Axl's mind and how he is the ultimate ruler of planet earth" thread...
