The free trial programs were not hard to find, but after trying about 7 or 8 , none worked, want to throw the computer out the window, is their a common mistake I am making, or are these programs really that hard to use???

anyone know of a good program??
any tips to using it???

oh, and my DVD is the Japanese bonus Hollywood Rose DVD, is the fact that it is an import messing me up ??

First of all, downgrading a dvd file to avi or mpg is frowned upon (by me), so please just use the .vob file that it should already be in

You can use VOBs with any software DVD players (there are a few. I personally use PowerDVD but others use WinDVD and such).

Use the winavi 6.2. It can be found in torrent sites like torrentspy.com Smiley

You can always use the Adobe Premiere too, but it's way too heavy.
