i dont know if anyone has ever asked this, but did they ever give a reason why they changed the cover of lies from ladies welcome to the dark ages, to elephant gives birth to midget??

because the "dark ages" comment had to do with the "Wife beating has been around for 10,000 years" headline that was also featured on the original cover.? after Axl was sued for physical/sexual abuse by Stephanie and Erin, the record label altered the cover.

if you look around you can find some old CDs with the original cover art, but you'll mostly only find it on the LP cover.

My CD AND LP both say "Birth To Midget".? Dammit, I want the other one now...

Oh, and I see there's both a censored and uncensored version of the chick LP.  So now that's 2 more GNR Lies LPs I gotta get.  hmmph
