Congrats to you and your growing family, Mike!!  beer  I see you had a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving this year!
Can't wait to see pics! Wink

They sure keep you in the hospital a long time for a natural birth in Europe, Jessica.  When my 1st son was born, I was home in 24 hrs!  I couldn't wait to get out - I was ready in 6.  LOL  I got a lot more rest at home.  I the hospital, they kept waking me up every hour for some reason or other and I wanted out so I could rest!  Maybe they don't do that in Europe?

Oh they probably will, especially because i want to breastfeed and i have to learn how to do it ( it's exciting actually !!!! i keep looking at my tits to see about the colostrum and all, i'm so glad) ...

I think they keep mums so long so the family or husband or other kids don't bother mums too much so they can get a little rest before heading home and in some cases, make sure they don't have internal bleedings the next day ( i heard it's not uncommon ?)

thanks everyone, you have all been very nice to me.. The gnr community is great..

I love holding my newborn.. So small yet reminds me of my first child.. it's happy times right now.. My 3 year old is so helpfull and she seems happy. Grin
