I don't know if anything official has been announced, but I could have sworn I heard one of the band members mentioning it as something they wanted to do eventually.

yeah it sure looks that way,i came all the way from Australia to see the show and it was unbelievable.. There were proffessional camera set ups there and a few disclaimers on the wall from RCA saying they reserve the right to use your image in a recording... i freakin hope a dvd comes out

I haven-t seen any cameras on their last leg of European tour
I saw them in Ljubljana and Budapest.
Also, there has been much more fire in them than back in '93 when GNR being my favorite band let me down with their performance in Frankfurt which was mediocre, to say the least...
BTW, I was wondering these days, what happend with VR DVD release??
It has been almost 6 months since their last tour finished, and the new album is just several months ahead of us???

i think that VR should release a DVD so that people like me (who havent been to any of their concerts) could see them perform.

I remember a while back they said they were gonna film the two shows at the Wiltern Theatre in L.A, June 8 & 9 2004 for a furure DVD release. I'm pretty sure they did because in the end of the VH1 documentry(inside out) they had on vr they showed a clip of them playing at what looks like the wiltern theatre.

Uh, no they haven't.
But yes, a DVD is inevitable.

I would like a mix of places, not only one gig that would be kind of boring, watching the same concert... I mean watching several songs from different places.

...it would only get boring if it was a shit gig
Look at something like
GN'R
Live at the Ritz '88
, all one gig and i'm sure nobody EVER gets bored of that....
....I would prefer one gig, so you can see all the crowd interactions and stuff, if they want a bit of variety just put
2
or
3
whole gigs on the damn thing...
