Not yet.

I'll start to wait when I hear the official announcement.  hihi My W8 is starting very soon!

1999 when Axl talked about it in that MTV interview.. That's was the time I first heard about Chinese Democracy so I have waited for it since then.
Hum so in 1999 people heard of the name 'Chinese Democracy' for the first time.
incidentally, I'm curious to know when it was named Chinese Democracy.
Maybe it reinforces my w8 numerology  Tongue - about  how long you will  have waited for Chinese Democracy for when you see it.
This may seem off topic but assuming no one had waited for CD until then, it's sorta related.  Tongue

I've been waiting for Chinese Democracy since 2000 Intentions didn't come out......

I remember looking through music magazines since 1994 looking for info on the follow up album. While at the time it wasn't Chinese Democracy, I've been waiting patiently for almost 12 years.

I wasnt all that into the Sympathy for the Devil release when it came out in late 94.  I picked that up and I kind of put GNR on the shelf until later on in my sophomore year in high school.  That was 97.  I remember being like, wow its been 4 years since TSI I wonder what they are up to.

I started doing some research and I remember vividly the first time I read http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1429820/04181997/guns_n_roses.jhtml this article.  I remember being really confused and baffled by the idea of Robin Finck and Chris Vrenna being in GNR.  I was a big NIN fan at the time as well so I knew all about their work.

When Slash was fired/left the band (who knows what happened) I was really dissapointed.  Then Duff left and at that point it all fell apart.  While its nice that Axl has gotten something together I still want to see/hear the results.  A few live recordings just don't do it for me.

Well I guess since TSI come out but I first heard about CD in a HMV when I was reading a kerrang mag that had a main article called coming in 2000. I yelled at the top of my lungs and the whole shop turned and laughed at me. But I was so fuckin happy 6 years ago when I read that.

I've always loved the band but it took me so long to get a computer with the internet and find info about them. So I've waited like 3 years. To be honest I don't give a fuck if the album sounds good or not, when it's released , it will prove Axl is back and has defeated his personal demons. ok
