in my opinion coma is one of guns n roses best songs and is vastly underrated when they played it live it truely was awesome and quit a spectacle to seecheck the chicago 92 vid slash breaks his guitar string during the end of it and still pulls off an amzing solo

What does it mean when you can really relate to the lyrics in that song?

I love it too The main riff is awesome.. and it's kinda sad that they didnt play it live many times. "I wrote some really cool shit when I was high.. There's a song called 'Coma', a long song, really heavy, and I wrote that loaded. And it's not something that I can really see myself writing right now." "I like 'Coma' a lot. It's got a defibrillator in it you know, the instrument that starts your heart when it's stopped. And there's some EKG beeps too. We were just fucking around, but the song is heavy, and Axl's vocals are gorgeous I mean really amazing" -Slash

Coma is my favorite song of all time. The lyrics are incredible, especially in the last 3 mins.

i read somewhere in an interview with axl that he wrote the last three minutes of come just off the top of his head in 1 night as he was sitting up, just brainstorming that guy's mind is incredible.
