'He is still in contact with the Nine Inch Nails boys but doesn't get to talk to them as much as he'd like to. He is also rumored to be working with Trent Reznor on the new Nine Inch Nails album.
Robin has returned to GnR to tour with them, but remains a free agent. The North American Tour prematurely ended and Guns n' Roses have been put on an unofficial hiatus.'

Some new info here, I think... So is it possible that Robin doesn't have a contract with Axl anymore?  Huh  I wouldn't cry, but that's just me, and although I don't like Robin's playing, I'd like to have a new GN'R album and a tour...

But it says he's a free agent. I think the NIN-line is old, they recorded WT and toured without Robin. I'm more concerned on the contract thing.
