topic says it all... i did a quick search for it bt didt find anything...

anyone here know? i have a P bass... changed the pickups so i now have seymore D. basslines  ok

are there any ideal distant for it?

I really am not a pro at this. Especially on bass, but I'd suggest you try to get the loudest sound of the mic, without the sound distorting, or the magnets of the mic fucking up the frequencies... And if you have more than one pickup on the bass, I'd propably adjust the louder mic to the level of the quieter one. So that when you switch between them, you'll get the same amplitude from both of them...

Hopefully someone will correct me, since I'm just throwing shit out there and have no idea what I'm talking about.
