Live Era WEIRD Spanish promo sampler!!!!!

What makes it strange?

I'll tell ya...

Live Era was released in 1999. This is a promo for the double album. No other year, than 1999, is mentioned on the card sleeve.

However, the 2 gigs that GN'R were supposed to play in 2001 in Spain are listed on its back, along with the names of the new band members, which is the first time I see these names on an official cd (from what I remember...) and feels a little strange... but good. 

AND, the songs are cut... like radio mixes. I don't have any other sampler from Live Era so I don't know if this is normal.

well all i can presume is its a later release due to the publicity they got  from Rio as to whether the songs are cutill have to listen to mine and see

I've never seen this one before. Apart from the band members' names and the concert dates, the back is exactly the same as the regular one. Strange indeed.

i got it too, bought it back in 2000 at a recordfair. He had a couple of these...

Wow, Christos AG! Isn't it a great find?

1. Why these 5 titles are listed there? Were these songs by this lineup supposed to be included?

2. & 3. They had the phrase ie "Chinese democracy starts now" ready and a plan to tour in the 2001 with Robin, BH and Brain, by the time this cover was printed??before November 29th / 30th, 1999.   Am I Right?

Interesting to mention that they played live all these songs besides "Don't Cry"...The regular sampler has 8 tracks on it by the way.

I saw here in Brasil a Live Era re-release with a pic of Axl in RIR3. It's the regular double album, only the cover is different. Take a look (it's on Uni's brazilian website!):

No, the regular spanish sampler has 5. There are 3 versions : USA (8 songs), Spain (5 songs) and Mexico (8 songs).

Maybe its a fake??? or it was made after 2001....the dates of the Spanish gigs do not say 2001 on it....
