I personally dont think the album will come out in 2005, but even if it was going to I dont believe that Geffen will have it listed on their monthly release lists. This album has been shrouded in so much secracy that they are not gonna put it on their schedule just like that, it would let the cat out of the bag way too easily! I'm sure it will be kept top secret until the official announcement! Mike

I am sure he was saying "dont give up" 3-4 years ago too.  This is a joke.  Stay positive?  I am positive....that this will not see the light of day.  I went to the first Vegas show in 01 and HOB and I was very optimistic but shit, that was almost 5 years ago.  I am patient but htis is ridiculous.  There are plenty of other bands out there that give a shit about their fans so why put up with Asshole Rose.

Besides, if I remain negative then all that can happen is that I will be pleasantly suprised some day (yeah right!).

The music he wrote is already dated.  If he wanted to get on the industrial/techno/rock thing back when it was popular, he shoulda released thi back in 98 and 99.  Fastforward to 2005/2006, rock n roll is coming back finally

LOL! I can't blame you feeling this way, I feel the same now actually. I remained positive for so long and it felt close in 2002 when they were touring but now, who knows. A lot of us have been waiting for something new from Axl since 1993, 12 years ago, so it's even harder for us to remain positive 

2006 holds 3 albums that I am anticipating anyway:

2nd release from Velvet Revolver
debut from new supergroup Army of Anyone (ex STP/Filter)
debut from Panic Channel (Dave Navarros new band)

Those 3 should be amazing albums, obviously i'd take CD over all 3 but at least theres somepromising music coming out next year.

  Gilld1, you are like The Grinch on top of that cold mountain looking down at all of us happy little Who-Villers here at HTGTH who are just patiently waiting for our best Christmas present ever.  I wouldn't be surprised if the album ever did come out, you'd slide down all our chimneys just to steal it out from underneath our Christmas trees!!!

think before you judge, Axl probably has a good reason to be absent. I think Axl is the kind of guy that has unfinished business outside of music, he probably doesn't want those personal-life issues interfere with his music career. Let him take this chance to battle his personal demons.
