Linus Torvalds is the creator of Linux.  I would guess that's where the last name came from, and Axel (is it actually spelt Axl?  If not, it's probably Axel) is a more common name in Europe (I believe), and fits with the whole linux/unix type naming thing.  I would guess that's where the name came from.

Well, seeing as I locked it I'm pretty sure I can answer it for you.

A thread about Axl doesn't belong in Administrative, Feedback & Help.  As is obvious by the section's title.
However, if you were to put it in the jungle, or maybe the main section if we're feeling nice, it wouldn't get locked or removed.  In fact, people might answer your question!

But as it is, you can't seem to find the right sections to post in, therefore your thread was locked.
