wttj is played at college football games to major league baseball games.. It's use by players as their intro as well.. It's really the only true gnr staple at sporting events..

No offense guys, but why do you guys act shocked when they play AFD tunes at sporting events? They've been doing it for years. I get surprised when they use AFD songs that arent hits during their segments, but I think they've also been doing that for years. peace

Yeah I heard Brownstone during one of the segments after a timeout in the Ravens-Bears game and it really surprised me. You rarely hear an obscure GNR tune on TV like that. Its usually Jungle or Paradise City.

Today during the Seahawks-Rams game they played Sweet Child O mine. Is it just me, or is that a strange song to play during a sporting event? confused

I think WTTJ intro,  is the most played song in the sports world.   Atleast in america it is.

No lie, I was watching a Baseball game on TV a couple years back, and out of nowhere they played the intro to Bad Obsession.  I don't even remember what teams were playing.  I was just so shocked that a pretty obscure GN'R song would be played at a major sporting event.
