Once again, if the Philadephia no-show was not Axl's fault, then why wouldn't he explain the reasons. If he is innocent he should speak the truth because he has nothing to hide. I mean WTF? It has almost been 3 years now since that no-show. Even if there were legal issues here, isn't 3 years enough to settle them? I know things move slowly in the courts, but what the hell?
Because it may not be the band's fault, but they were told to not blame CC or the venue due to legal reasons.
Seems unlikely. What legal reasons? CC won't support them on the next (
) tour? They won't for sure. They will go to court if Axl tells the truth that CC did something wrong? Why? How? Sorry, but I don't believe it for a second.
That's your problem. I couldn't find the Dizzy's interview when he talks about legal reasons (not so deeply, though).
Why would Axl made a statement about Buckethead leaving and the cancelled RIR4 and simply ignore the Philly riot? Even when the vancouver riot happened, he did interviews back then and made sure to explain why the show was cancelled... If you choose to not believe a band member (it's been pretty usual lately), just think: why CC didn't release some kind of statement too?

wether axl was wrong or right a simple explanation could have been made.. You know any rock band on the planet making a comeback would at least do that for the fans.. if CC had pulled the plug they would have known before time so no opening acts would have been aloowed to perform and no beer would have been sold.. The way it seems cc did not know this was going to happen

Because they are not interested in doing that? Is there anyone who'd boycott a show because CC hasn't released a statement about a GN'R gig? But Axl should have been interested in a press release since this riot was another nail to GN'R's cascet.
