Estranged............The Guns n' Roses Story

« on: October 30, 2005, 08:15:20 PM »

As some would say "born again".

Obviously Christ is always on his mind. His love of the cross.

What would you say as a fan?

Would you support his decision to let go of the past and start a new path?

All Axl's fans know a little about his youth in Indiana. His troubles?

JC's love is forever. Only our human environment causes us pain.

Just a thought.

It's a simple question, asking for only a simple answer.... what would I say? Bless him. Its his life and he can do what he wants since he is a musician

I wouldn't care really, it's his life not mine. So if he wants to be a christian more power to him, it has no impact on my life really.

I'd say, "Oh great, not another fuckin' born-again."  Seriously, I think Axl's had enough time to become educated on such matters...educated enough to realize no one specific creation myth is any more valid than another.   ok

There'd be all kinds of GNR Christian rock songs... that we'd never hear.

2 Christain question posts? Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if Axl believed in Jesus..

I wouldn't care either way. Long as he puts out some good music.

It might be a good idea. He can open for the big JC when he returns. Hopefully they both will have new material.

I don't even consider it as a possibility, given what Axl has stated about religions in the past years...

What did he say?

Read "The Garden Of Eden" very carefully....

He also commented the song on an interview, especialy the "organised religions" part...

I would ask him to be careful of ministers ( as i have born agains in my own family, american side of it)
I would entirely support his decision.
Singing is a way to give love, preaching can be another.

?Hey, as long as the message is still one of, "My religion is right and yours is wrong," or, "non-believers (those who don't believe in the almighty jc) are going to hell," ?then yes, it is shit. ?Also, is it just me, or do the Silkworms lyrics not seem too Christian rock-like? ? hihi ?I just can't see Axl being one of these hypocrites. ?no
