I can't understand how everyone still gets his hopes up with something like that. I man, come on, we heard the exact same phrase from the bandmembers a thousand times during the last couple of years and absolutely nothing happened.

hes lieing,  hes a dirty fooooooooocking liar.    this is a terrible interview-  what the hell kind of station would air this crap?,  he's so wasted and babbles on and on-   theres one funny part where he starts talkin about going on to his website and updating his bio,   he cant piece together a thought in his head-  then they had to edit it to when he was ready to ask something else.   that trannys totally had a penis in her mouth within 10 minutes of the camera going off.

i expect to be holding the new single in 35 minutes.

i dont think he was joking, i think it sounded like he was being serious, the laugh was just to show how pathetic the whole thing is.

come on, do u really think he talks to Axl?? there's no news, except our speculation, b/c there IS NO NEWS.

He was clearly joking.. he laughs.. then confirms and says obsolutely (I think that was the word he used, I don't want to have to watch that awful interview again!)

haha and this is where I love to see it when everything turns out to be false and everyone is let down.   ok

Keep on believing everyone!

Well fuck off then..

He also says he'll have songs in movies soon.

There's a reference for you. Which happens first, CD or Dizzy's solo stuff released.....

I wonder if Dizzy realises how much of a comic figure he is, I mean in a good way. He's just fiunny. I laughed my ass off watching that interview. That blonde "journalist" and Dizzy together on the couch - I mean, come on, that's just one priceless fucken parody, beautiful!  rofl

I just watched the interview in full! Man Dizzy looks so drunk toward the end of the interview!  rofl Either that or he doesn't do cameras much and he was nervous! What a terrible production!  Grin

If the inerview was done on Sept 8th, then the statement is meaningless as Tommy updated around that time and Richard cancelled his Nena dates. Something then happened and changed that because Richard then spoke of outside disturbances and scheduled more Nena dates. I actually think the plans changed again after that. Thus, we know nothing. All the Bloody time lags.

The damn link won't open up, it keeps freezing on me....... Undecided

Click the link, then on the site where it says "Dizzy Reed" right click on his name to "save as" - worked for me.

Direct link: http://sugarbuzzmagazine.com/dizzy.wmv

Still it doesn't work for me. it says the operation timed out. Undecided

I'm having deja-vu. Roll Eyes

I'm not holding my breath.

All the guys in the current GnR should lat out refuse any GnR related questions. He doesn't even know if he's in the band anymore for christ's sake.

You're all missing the most important thing here...

How short was her fucking skirt?  Shocked   hihi

Seriously though, I think his comments are nothing different than before, but I still remain optimistic that the album will be out soon.

Well he isn't lying when he says soon, he said he was told soon, so that means hes not sure when, but "SOON" is still without a date. he talked about touring with his band and will tour until hes called in for duty with Guns. He doesn't know anymore than we do. He seems to be a guy that loves being on stage playing music. Axl must not give these guys much info, its sad, but he seems to be keeping busy. Poor Dizzy

Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

After 15 years in Guns N' Roses, I have always been shocked by how Axl considers Dizzy. The guy has been in the band since 1990, and he is always the last guy to know what happens. That's unfair. Dizzy is a great guy and a great musician, he deserves a little bit more respect. He is a key member of the new Guns N' Roses for me. The guy played on the Use Your Illusions, even if he wasn't as famous as Axl or Slash, he played on the Illusion I and II, he helped the band to be successfull during the early 90's, and he is now an "historic" member of the band.

Dizzy deserves a little more respect. Both from Axl and from the fans.

I would think D. gets a lot of respect from the A. More so than a lot of you think.

A lot of us are viewing GN'R as this 'band' of guys who get together and drink beer and strum chords until a song comes out. Fortunately, Guns don't work like VR. GN'R are a 'band' of professional musicians who respect each other's personal and professional lives.

I think you'll see some interesting credits on the inside of the album cover...
