...well anyway let me tell ya that today I found out a big coincidence just cuz few minutes ago before coming here I went to a Venezuelan website which supports GNR too so there I read : ?Izzy n' Adler MIGHT play in Argentina, South America this year? (it's been written in Spanish) but really that isn't official information yet, you can read it here :   http://gnrvenezuela.cjb.net/  , the truth is I got surprised cuz I didn't expect that rare breaking news, honestly  !...if i get more information ?bout so you'll be the first to know it over here!

I think Axl still retains an absurd amount of repect towards Izzy on a personal level, as well as on a musical level. They went to bloody school together after all and made the big leagues together side by side..I dont care how big of a fallout they had, friendships dont just dissappear with the snap of a finger. As far as Axl's statement goes about not letting him in his house, well thats simply the mans choice. Axl loved the highlife in LA after they had really made it big, but that wasnt Izzy's cup of tea at all. Deep down I think Axl feels like Izzy turned his back on him when he needed him most. They were in it for the long run and all of the sudden Izzy's gone leaving Axl to think, and write for himself..to think and write for GnR.

I cant see any future compilations between Izzy or Axl either though. Axl sees no need to compile his creative aspirations with a collegue of the past. It's about moving on, and artistic growth. Izzy is a memorable and fond memory in Axl's mind, but Axl is creatively evolving writing his lyrics solo for all intensive purposes..he must advance from past success to achieve success yet again in this day and age.

You might be one to something AxlRoseVen, perhaps The Blues is written towards Izzy, we wont really know until the album is out and the red head has spoken.

Alot of people think The Blues has been written in regards to Steph, but my hunch is that it could be a song written for Dylan..but then again I could be wrong.

I know, it was just a joking. It's obvious IMO that The Blues is not about Izzy or any other former gnr member.

Since I didn't become a fan of the band until 99, I don't really have any preconceived notions about Axl and Izzy's relationship.  I do, however find Axl's comments during the 2002 tour intriguing because Izzy was mentioned alot and usually in a non-negative manner.  He was mentioned back to back nights in Minneapolis and Fargo, and then the unplugging of the amp story in Boston I think. 

Does anyone else find this sort of weird condsidering the view that Axl is supposed to "hate" the old band members.  Out of the four, Axl definitely likes Izzy the best these days, I would say he hates Duff and Slash, and doesn't even acknowledge that Steven is alive (I shouldn't have either but instead bought Adler's $13 cd earlier this year and am still kicking myself for it). 

I'd still say there's always a 0% chance of any of the old members getting back with Axl, if that's the point of these Izzy-Axl topics.

Part of the reason Axl doesnt despise Izzy is because he left the band gracefully, and isnt part of the GNR partnership. Izzy is on the outside of GNR business decisions. Im not sure Izzy makes any money off GNR except in record sales, unless the partnership includes Izzy's name, and he isnt allowed to vote.

you don't need to think of some woman to feel the love just cuz  too you can get LOVE from your family, girlfriend, pals, etc,  so i see you're the only one who's not been in love yet!, Axl forgave Izzy since the first minute the guy WENT AWAY from the band so that's why Axl's done his best to fix Izzy's mind to get him back to his brotherhood again!, Izzy didn't wanna hear him in 1991 just cuz he thought he could get a lot of millionaire contracts without AXL but Izzy was just right to hit the floor while GNR toured the planet without him!? ?
