Pollstar.com is reporting that ALICE COOPER will visit Canada this spring for an arena tour spanning a dozen dates.
The May 1-17 trek will include six gigs in Ontario and five more spread across Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. He'll dip down to Fargo, N.D., May 15 for a single U.S. show.
The original shock-rocker recently completed a 10-city tour of Germany and is planning more international dates this year. He's also keeping busy with a radio show, titled "Nights with Alice Cooper", which airs five days a week.
Cooper released his 24th studio album, "Dirty Diamonds", last summer.
ALICE COOPER Canadian tour dates:
May 01 - Saint John's, NF - Mile One Stadium
May 03 - Halifax, NS - Halifax Metro Centre
May 04 - Saint John, NB - Harbour Station
May 06 - Ottawa, ON - Ottawa Civic Centre Arena
May 07 - Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Place Theatre
May 09 - Kitchener, ON - Centre In The Square
May 10 - Oshawa, ON - Civic Auditorium Complex
May 11 - Barrie, ON - Barrie Molson Centre
May 13 - Thunder Bay, ON - Community Auditorium
May 15 - Fargo, ND - Fargo Civic Center
May 16 - Brandon, MB - Keystone Centre
May 17 - Winnipeg, MB - Manitoba Centennial Centre
Whoa, when did Fargo join Canada? That's pretty sweet. We annexed something.

Veteran shock-rocker Alice Cooper (tickets | music) has added a number of stops to the next leg of his US tour, and has also nailed down a handful of Canadian concerts for the fall.
Cooper, who wrapped up his first round of summer shows last weekend, returns to the road Aug. 5, and has penciled in August stops in more than a half-dozen cities, including Las Vegas; Anaheim, CA; El Paso, TX; and Tulsa, OK. Following the late-August conclusion of the US run, he'll take a break before heading to Canada in mid-October. Details are included below.
The roadwork supports Cooper's latest studio set, "Dirty Diamonds," which hit stores last August. In May, he followed that up with "Live at Montreux 2005," a live DVD and CD that capture his performance at last year's Montreux Festival. A complete tracklisting, as well as streaming audio and video clips from the set, are posted at Eagle Rock Entertainment's website.
Cooper's backing band currently features guitarists Kari Kelli and Damon Johnson (Brother Cane), bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Eric Singer (KISS).
Born Vincent Damon Furnier in 1948, Cooper has been cranking out albums since 1969, the year he issued "Pretties for You." He scored his first hit with the cut "Eighteen," featured on 1971's "Love It to Death."

Not only did he wash his hands in Boll's blood money, he
recommended the movie to people.
I can put up with him golfing. I can't put up with him recommending Uwe "The Devil Beast" Boll to any human being.

Who the fuck cares. I will never understand why people actually care what artists do to keep the food on the table and earn some extra cash. Bottom fuckin line.. Alice is still Alice and that makes him 100 times better than you.

I don't totally agree with Hicks, I think sometimes it is acceptable. In Slash's case that was a humorous commercial, too. It wasn't him scoring a Uwe Boll film and then telling people to pay to go see one of the worst atrocities of all time.

Alice Starts work on NEW album in January. I dont think he likes his misses much coz all he seems to so is tour and record. I hope the new album is like Dirty Diamonds, that was the best since trash.
What do you think the new one will be like?
