tonight mtv the netherlands showed the concert VR gave at the rock am ring festival
because it's "Rocktober".....slash was just great as always and matt was really pounding the shit out of those drums, but scott
yikes his singing...well it just sucked IMO?
? has anyone else seen this ?

i have, scott wasnt as on form as usual, but the band were. Better than they are now, they seem to not be putting any enthuaism in from some recent vids im seeing.....end of tour boredom?

They have been touring constantly. Scotts vocal cords are probably shredded. In my book, he's one of the top 3 live vocalist around. He's frigging awesome live, most always on pitch.

It was the opposite for me... I saw VR 4 times last tour and every show was better than the previous....

yeah I see this on MTV2 the band were awesome Scott seemed a bit rusty but none the less it didn't stop me from enjoying it though!

I also saw it. Too bad it was only for songs. I share your opinions: Scott was dissapointing, the rest was great. I especially love their extended version of Set me free live.

There is just one thing I nobody mentioned.
They haven't showed the entire show, have they?
As far s I know, VR have authorised only 6 tracks that were shown on WDR who usually have broadcasts from RamR.

Agreed, I saw them 3 times, the last being just this last August, and every show was better. I didn't see any end of tour boredom.
