oh yeah and we saw the hard rock cafe opening and thursday was there and i was in the crowd going "OMG ITS THURSDAY!" and everyone was like WTF cuz they didn't know who they were. FATA was there too? oh and i saw axl rose, he came in an SUV with motorcycle police escort. we also saw janice dickenson, a model, and les paul, i think? and other celebs. we also hit up st. mark's street, bryant park and rockerfeller center. amazing weekend with my love<3and sister!!

Hard Rock Cafe New York celebrated its Grand Opening in Times Square with a concert by supergroup Velvet Revolver, memorabilia donations by Reverend Run and Darryl of Run DMC, and also featured special appearances by celebrities ranging from Les Paul, Elvis Costello, Steven Van Zandt and Ace Frehley to Mike Piazza and David Wright of the New York Mets and fashion icon Richie Rich. The event, held on Saturday, September 17, raised $100,000 for Peace Games, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the trend of violence in the U.S. by teaching children to become peacemakers in their communities.

So did Axl attend this event (with Velvet Revolver there to boot), or was this girl mistaking someone else for Axl?

haha yeah I think this is a mistake.  Any person who likes emo fag bands like Thursday and From Autumn to Ashes would not be able to point out Axl Rose (sorry, I just hate emo musicians too much).  I bet her boyfriend saw Slash from GNR and she had no idea who it was and she just assumes it was Axl Rose.

Here in Modesto, CA Axl was spotted at a Mcdonald's Drive Thru(with police escort), and ordered a Big Mac, 2 large fries, an apple pie, and a Diet Coke. When asked when CD would come out, he said he would release it if Mcdonalds would bring back the McDLT.
