CD in december according to Dutch Radio Veronica (RUMOUR)

Just heard on Dutch Radio Veronica that Chinese Democracy will be released in December.
Haven't got a clue yet where they've got their information from, but will try to find out.

Has any other Dutch GNR fans heard this??

I think it's too late for a 2005 release. Not enough time for promotion. I think we will have the album around the Rock in Rio 2006. With the Da Vinci Code soundtrack, it will be the perfect timing. Somewhere beween April and June.
However, an annoucement is still possible.

Als je wat verder Google-t, zul je zien, dat het beloofde album in
november uitkomt, maar volgens de platen maatschappij wordt dat
december. Vandaar.
Het zou er ""eerder zijn dan jouw kerstboom"" in ieder geval.

This is where you are so annoying James. Why do you have to be so sarcastic about everything positive? Whether its a rumour with any truth to it or not its still potentially positive about the band!! So why try and ruin each thread that trys to be positive about the band. Wether they turn out to be true or complete bull shit, I think the majority of people who post them mean it with the best intentions, apart from the occasional trouble maker who posts pathetic rumours!!

I remember French radio said something about the release before.
US djs are like always bsing.
it seems that the radio djs/the media every once so often say what they read on the net or heard tell of from a guitar tech, a record company worker or the like.

Nevertheless I'm curious to know what they're saying somewhere on earth and why.

See what happens, strikes me as being a bit far fetched though, its starting to get very late for a December release, unless something happens very very soon. On the other hand it could be true, leaks are more likely to come from 3rd rate branch of a major company as opposed to a 1st rate branch, ie the UK and the US. Who knows, someone else who can speak both Dutch and English email the station and ask them again, see what happens!
