   I like this post.  Personally, I'd pay $100 American for everything (no apology from Axl necessary).  I think the general public and casual fan of the old GNR would be willing to part with $15 for the cd, and some of them would dish out $20 for the dvd.

Hell, personally, I think Axl should start selling tours of the recording studio like good ol' Willy Wonka used to do with his chocolate factory.  I'd be there!

Let's say it was confirmed that CD is finished, but due to problems with the record company (say, no single, packaging, something) or legal issues, it would not soon see the light of day.

Somebody approaches you with a copy of the final, mastered copy and offers to sell it to you: how much would you be willing to plunk down, if you knew it was a legit copy?

OK, this is a bit of a silly thread but I'm bored so I'm interested to know how much you would you pay (or what worldly possession would you trade) for Chinese Democracy, complete with 18 tracks (recorded in surround sound), a re-recording of AFD, bonus DVD 'The Making of', a personal foreword and apology from Axl for the delays to the album, delivered to your dwelling for xmas all contained in a crystal glass casing?

For all of this I'd have no problems paying ?50 (almost $100).
