Look, I just don't like that they are putting out an album and using the name Guns N' Roses.. Because it isn't..

And I think that I have the right to think whatever I want.. Does that make me clueless or stupid?

If you come to a GN'R board and among the first things you post is that, then you seem a bit clueless.

We're done with that "it isn't GN'R" subject here, time to move on.

I was talking with all my co-workers, and if I had won the $350 million lottery, I'd dump $50 mil+ to get Gn'R back together for one show.

That is the highest quantity of money, anyone here has offered so far...

Money doesn't equal the value this music has for me.

I'd pay whatever I could afford to pay for a copy.

However, I think 12,- to 15,- Euros for a regular music CD and up to 20,- to 25,- for a double CD or a limited edition with DVD or some other extra stuff would be a reasonable price.

If they want to sell more copies, they should sell a double CD and a Bonus DVD for 9,99 in the first four weeks and then go up to prices like above.

Like turning the "nice price" bargain thing upside down - the CD should be affordable when it is fresh and THEN become more and more expensive. This will push sales, some people will buy the "product" for the bandforbucks factor alone, others want to safe money and buy it right away and then there's the fan's who'd buy it anyway. Lots of people wil own the CD, and the better the "product" is (not only the music, but how it is presented - DVD, packaging, surround sound etc.), the more people will buy it.

What do you think?

7 quid. Thats 7 English pounds for every year we have waited! Wink (it might be more than that now!)
Its also the amount i pay for a whole host of awesome albums from various online sources and record shops alike.
Albums that have been released, albums that arent perfect, but albums that are awesome all the same.

Mr. Dick Purple, $30 is steep, but I've been waiting a long, long time.  Hell yeah I'd pay $30...but it won't be that expensive...unless it's a double-album.  It will be the best $16.99 (single album), or $33.98 (double album) I've ever spent!   Cool

If it were a double cd, and Best Buy was selling it for 49.99, I'd give in and buy it

I would still buy it. If its a 4 track EP and costs $100, I'm buying it. I dont care what songs are on it or how much it costs, on release day I am buying it the second the store opens.

I'd pay a lot for a professionally edited selection of all the outtakes, mixes etc. Naturally it would have to include all the guest musicians as well (Zakk, Brian May etc). I'm sure you could have hours of fun analysing all of that.

I'd definitely pay 30 bucks for it.  It would be an obscene price, but I'd pay way more than that.

Come on people.. I payed 60 bucks for DONKEY KONG 64! Of corse I'd pay higher for C.D.

...but if its above 60 bucks.. I may or may not download tracks while I save up the money..  lol. Its not stealin long as I buy it eventually.. and I would.. I know im going to buy it the day it comes out. And I will REFUSE to read the board until I hear the whole thing 3 times through. (Unless its a trilogy.. in which case.. I'll listen as much as I can be4 I snap waiting for your reviews!)

O man thats gonna be hectic. The day C.D drops theres gonna be haters.. theres gonna be at least 500 new members (who find the site on the inside cover of C.D. which thanks the fans at heretodaygonetohell.com for their support!  ok) posting bullshit about "new gnr not being gnr".. theres gonna be people typing everything like THIS .. there will be people totally in love with the album.. there will be people talking about the tour... there will be professional reviews all over the place.. Rolling Stone, ect.. the "post your own C.D. review" thread will OVERFLOW with comments. it will have 20 new pages in 5 min. the "Cheers mates! ITS OUT!" thread will be full of people crying, saying "I TOLD YOU HATERS IT WOULD SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY!", and people who say "Goddamnit I haven't gone out and bought it yet!!!!"

and of corse... someone will start a "whens the next one coming thread?" at which point i will blow my head off..  hihi

Or.. it may never happen. But lets all rmemeber who called the "C.D's inside cover will thank the memebers at heretodaygonetohell.com". ME
