So true.  In the 80's, big hair was cool.  I mean, when GnR first started, Axl had his hair all teased up & make-up on.  Looks pretty strange now.  And there was a picture of Duff (very early GnR promo pic) where he was in some fluffed up punk hair and a tie.   

And to call Matt a douche is unfair.  Just because he's not Steven.  He was in GnR longer than Steven, probably played more live shows, and recorded more with them.  Everyone is different in their opinions, I know, but I consider him to be THE drummer for GnR (earlier GnR).  Much better than Steven.   

Newsflash: 80s hair is back with a vengence!! Stock up on hairspray now.........

damn right it is, ive got my ultra strength hair spray by me right now!

I've never heard that before, but I always new that he wasn't the "legendary" drummer that some describe. He's a good one for sure, but not that good.
