The only note to make those shows are where the music came from, some of the vocals are from different shows or redone in the studio. Like SCOM for example, the music is from Paris but the vocals are from a different show.

I'm sure it's not chicago but I don't know where it was recorded.
Axl says at the beginning of the track they hadn't played it in a year or so until that concert.
So maybe Omaha 4/10/93?

They only played it live like 4 times right? I m pretty sure coma is from either toyko or chicago. If he does say that before teh song then I think its Toyko. Not the DVD one but they played three shows at tht time and coma was played on one of those nights.

GNROnTour has this:
Quote
04.10.93 - Omaha Civic Auditorium, Omaha, NE
opening act: Blind Melon
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Live And Let Die, Attitude, The Garden, Welcome To The Jungle,
Coma
, Yesterdays, Double Talkin' Jive, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Patience, Piano Solo, November Rain, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City
audio/video recording?: no
notes: This setlist is possibly inaccurate in terms of order. The crowd was not very receptive to Blind Melon, prompting Shannon Hoon to point to the front row and say ?If you people don?t shut up, we will be here for 45 more fucking minutes!? GN?R took stage at about 10:30 p.m. and played until about 1 a.m. At some point during GN?R?s set, Axl picks up a condom and says "I found a condom."
There is some debate whether or not 'Coma' was played at this show; it most likely was.
So it would make sense, although we don't have any other recordings to confirm it.

It's not Chicago because I have that recording and the performance is different.
And apparently Axl used a translator for the Tokyo shows - on the Live Era version of Coma he speaks to the crowd for about a minute before the song starts with no translation. So I would think that rules out Tokyo as well.

Sorry to deviate, but I thought WTTJ was unknown? If it was from 1989, then some threads here need updating.

I really don't think WTTJ was from '89. They never ended it like that back then did they?
I really think Nighttrain's vocals were redone in the studio more so than any song.
When you think about it, Live Era was done very half-assed. They should have definitely given some information on where the songs came from, instead of "Recorded across the universe"

The reason they didnt say where they came from is because a lot of the vocals were redone.

I heard SCOM was performed by the new band, and it was the version heard in the Big Daddy movie. Im not saying it's true but I don't understand how anyone would know if it's the new band playing it.

this list is merely a ballpark figure since Axl resang almost the entire album in the studio, and since there are numerous other fixes made to guitar parts and whatnot as well. The overall track may have been taken from the shows listed but the album is heavily tinkered.
