PLEASE someone tell me this isn't actually true? And don't just chalk it up to the liberal media...I'd like to see some actual proof it's not true.
I thought we'd gotten past this....

I did too, but more than months ago.? It was over a year ago, and probably closer to a year and a half.
And then Congress passed the law allowing reimbursement, and set a deadline in Feb to have the program up and running.
I figured, you know, 7 MONTHS after the deadline, the Pentagon would have everything up and running smoothly by now.
And then..this article.
When I ask for someone to prove the article wrong...I'm quite serious.? I really, really, really hope msnbc got this story completley wrong.? But I suspect they did not.? And that's just sad....

I understand where you're going (or going back to) but.....
I think we need to leave that stuff (the "in poor taste" comments made in the past) alone, at this point.? And maybe let some of the "healing" from those that were offended begin. Holy War is gone.....let's forget him, as well.
Not to mention, you just provided bullets for the firing squad.

just be glad your not stuck with the Clothe The Soilder. Thats the Canadian program to replace all issued kit to things that are new improved and are suitable for use......... the problem is that after listening to soilders they done about a 90degree turn from what was required. Alot of canadian personel do purchase 3rd party equipment because it is better and avaible now, the ruck sack that is being issued in 06-07 was delayed 3 times so far, and it is not functional as deemed by testing soilders. They are in favour of kifaru rucks which are stronger and more functional.
however though mared with delays and short comings when fully deployed canada will heave enough kit for all...... and btw BA is not in short supply here
