E-Mail from Richard: "I understand the frustration of the fans."

This is from an email I got from Richard Fortus. No earth shattering news here, I just thought I'd pass this along.
Here's what he wrote:
"I will tell you that I understand the frustration of the fans. I hate it that people feel like we are stringing them along. I assure you that we have no intentions of doing this. We honestly want to move forward with this as much as you guys want us too. We aren't lying to anyone. We would have nothing to gain from that. I understand that Guns has probably alienated most of the old Gn'R fans out there in some way, and at this point, the only way we could possibly redeem ourselves, is to release a great fucking record and start touring again. That's all we want to do.

Ok... but, any plans?
I also understand my frustration, what I don?t understand is the reason of Axl?s silence.

Definitely the best comments from Richard so far. No promises. No hype. Just a normal response.

That's cool of him to send that. We are frustrated indeed, but that is because we don't really understand how they've been so silent these past few years. I'm sure they can't say why nothing's happening, but when you don't know, it is frustrating indeed.

I said it's
from
, not
the
email. ?
I can tell you it's not automated, he actually replied to what I had written.
@ The New Fiona
I wasn't even asking for information, so you have to cut him some slack on this one. I think his response is very nice and just shows how the band (at least Richard) cares and are/is aware of the situation in the fan camp.

Richards responses, are always real , I have had email contact with him for some time, but I am more interested in things that are goin on with him like when he is doin gigs and stuff, here in NYC, Ive met and talked to him, and I dont feel like beatin the GNR thing with him, I asked a few questions , got answers, and I know there is no point in harassing , I like to take pics at his shows, send them to him for his board, and I love his guitar work and how he performs, when GNR tour again, like in 2002, I'll be there, and just happy that my fav band is back, and knowin that up there are a few members I have gotten to talk to and have a drink with , and are really down to earth real people, like any one of us.

Does Richard Fortus remind anyone else of Ronnie Wood from the stones?? I saw them live Monday and Ronnie pretty much had the same over enthusiasm in his playing style with definately similar on stage body language when crucifying some material..not to mention the same haircut and clothes..I think it's cool if thats the image Richard has set for himself a la Izzy and Keith Richards.
