This shit is everywhere now... Ads for them are plastered all over the Comedy Central website, I can't go anywhere on my school's campus without getting offered a small sample bottle of Axe's newest scent.
What do you guys think about this latest trend for body sprays? Do you think they're just trying to make it seem alright for guys to be wearing a fruity "spray" by sticking it in a black can and making commercials about guys getting laid because of it? Do you wear them? Are they going to disappear in a few years?

I don't know any "normal" men that wear them. But my developmentally disabled clients use them all the time. I'd probably guess that a "normal" guy wearing it was a little feminine.

Some people think body spray is deoderant.. boy do they stink at the end of the day  What ever happened to deoderant and after shave.. or cologne as some of you guys call it? Body spray is useless, smells cheap and wears off quickly. |

Apparently this thread has struck a nerve with you. ?Perhaps you are a consumer of these body sprays? ?Its ok, I like gay people.
And while I confess I have not examined the bottles of body spray my clients use, even they have sense enough to use real deoderant.

What a thread! Can we somehow get a Bush/Iraq debate into this topic? I hear the troops in Iraq are permitted to torture prisoners by spraying them with the latest Axe Body Spray...  The new Old Spice spray actually lasts longer than 5 minutes (unlike Tag or Axe), but is the intention to use these things instead of cologne? |

Metrosexuals, disgusting. Real men wear a good aftershave.  That's how to get women interested when they get up close! They associate the good smell with you on some psychological level. The best bet is to go for a unique microbrand. Body spray, and especially Axe, is just watered down cologne. |
