Give Richard Nixon a break! I don't really understand the point in posting if you have nothing valid to say really. It's ok to critize the thread, but we don't need 15 people to say the thread sucks. We get the point.

As for the topic itself, I don't think it's a bad thread at all. Sure the historical figures chosen are not appropiate nor have nothing to do with Axl (I have to say though, it looks like some of the names there are just chosen randomly with no logic - Franco being one of them...Does a fascist dictator remind you of Axl?)

As for Howard Hughes...well, we've all read in many articles the comparission with Axl. Stanley Kubrick I don't think he's that far off either. I think Tolkien could be a good comparission, both were reclusive, brilliant, obscure, mysterious...both were responsible for two trilogies ?Smiley

Edit.- You beat me to it Axl4prez...

Of course he would!  I can just see the record company execs. right now, "Jesus! We really need this Chinese Democracy thing out right away!  If you don't give it to us, you'll have Hell to pay!"  Of course Jesus isn't going to pay Hell, talk about the bad press.   hihi

M.J. was still dropping 20 points per game as a 40 year-old.  I expect no less from Axl.

 hihi

Axl has to have a jump shot, he's from Indiana!  I am sure Axl played his share of barnball.

Hitler....

mean...  Tongue

He looked like Jesus in his 30s (his face only).
Napoleo maybe, he was exiled (isolation for Axl) and returned to conquer Europe (conquer the music scene) but he failed at Waterloo. I hope Axl won't repeat history.

Napoleon and Hitler (as many mentioned him here) had a common thing that people forget. They both wanted to conquer the world  Wink

mmm honestly and seriously Axl now reminds me of, Beethoven, Beethoven because he lost his most loved Skill wich was his sense of hearing, and Axl kinda lost  his voice, but he still can penn and composed, so we havent lost him yet, just like beethoven did in the past...
