Possibly unique CD question

I own a CD
I bought back in '94:
Queensryche's "Promised Land".
The Queensryche symbol
Embossed right there on the disc
Is half wiped away.
Up until last year,
I thought that was on purpose
I'm told now it's not!
Does anyone else
Have this "wiped away" symbol
Upon their CD?
If not, if I have
What is a unique item,
How do I find worth?
Is there a website
Where McGann might discover
If others exist?

What do you mean exactly, half wiped away?
I own the same album (which I just checked) and the symbol is simply embossed there, as you said, but normally. It's just a slight shade darker than the CD itself. So no, it wouldn't appear to be purposeful that yours is half wiped away. Logic would probably dictate a defect. Though it
could
be something else...
Worth? Beats me!
Why do you write in verse?

I woke up one day
And thought posting in haiku
Would give me a laugh.
A software conflict
Has made me quite unable
To use my scanner.
When that's remedied,
I'll post a scan of the thing
It's really quite cool!
