GN'R in the press the other day

In the Mirror news paper here in the UK about 2 days ago there was a small section on GN'R complete with a mug shot of Axl (taken from the UYI tour). It spoke about the issue of the recent legal issue over paid/unpaid royalites. What was really odd was the section that read "Rose, who quit the band in 1995...". That's news to me, i thought it was the other way around, i thought is was Rose who owned the name and Rose who is the only remaining member left in GN'R. Probably a simple case of poor reporting?

I think the Axl quitting thing is from the old lawsuit where they say he quit GN'R and took the name with him.

Something like that. It's a mess...
