Where's my beer??

WWW
« on: August 30, 2005, 08:31:19 AM »

Check out some tunes I recently uploaded. They're all instrumentals, and when you download them you don't get the name, but numbers followed by .mp3.This is because it's on a national site, and they rename them automaticly.

Please tell me what you think. Smiley

Right click,and save as.

This one is called H?st,which means Autumn in norwegian.Inspired by..you guessed it,autumn Smiley

This next one is inspired by the little things that no one really pay attention to,but what in summary makes up our personality.
I wrote it after me and my last girlfriend broke up.Missed her very much,so it was a great relief to write this one. *yes*
The title of the song is "Perfection."

This last one I wrote after a nightly walk underneath a starlight nightsky thinking of a person that is very important to me,and that I missed alot at that point in my life. It's called "Maybe Someday."

That's it.What do you think?

It would take a lot more time than you...

Wow, I think all three of those are beautiful.   Very nice, I especially like the arrangements you've chosen with the other instruments.  You should post more songs if you have any.

Great tunes dude.

The first one is my favorite. Sounds very pro and sad, which I like. If I were you I would try to develop a countermelody with the intrument that comes in at 1:43, and see how that works.

The second one reminds me of metallica.

The third one sounds more complete than the rest. By this I mean that with the first two I would try to lenghtend the arrangement, although they are great the way they are. (writing more than one version of a tune is very beneficial)

Thanks for the constructive critisism.Appreciate it,and I'll deffinetly look into it.
Ihave a bad habbit of leaving the song after I've worked with for a certain period of time, and then move on.
But I know it's a great learning experience to try and make different versions of the song one create..Thanks for reminding me beer

I thought I replied to this ages ago.

I'll have to say, one of, if not the best things I've heard here. Some great melodies. Kept it simple. Didn't try to reach the skies with complexity, but achieved it still with simplicity. The mix is good. The VST's don't bother me at all, when compared to some of the recordings posted here. Really, really nice.

A lot of things posted here are 'good for a fan recording', but I wouldn't wanna listen to them after 2 listens. But these I've already listened to about 6 times and I'm not irritated, quite the opposite. I'd like to hear more if you've got.
