i started in 1993, i was 10. my dad was helping the scientists at the university of marseille to set up links to the Internet for private houses. so we were  their test house.

I've seen the birth of google and the starwars.com (i think). this is kinda sick.  Sad

hmm, i started using it from cyber spaces in 1998 for my genealogy research.

One day, i was bored, waiting for some site to open and i thought " hey, i wonder what's become of GNR ?"

It was in 2000, in march i think ?

From then, got addicted.

'bout 97' in high school, found this  and other GNR sites n' have been checkin' em' out since i left in 00' beer

Chinese Democracy was the only reason i went on the net, now i check out a few others like Blabbermouth n' shit.

The system was called "GEnie", originally for GE employees, and their families. Eventually they went public and it cost money. Text only, nothing like today. Really more like IM.
