New Song and Website

I setup a new website for my music: http://www.joethederelict.com.? (it's a work in progress, just like my music.) ? I posted a new song there, which you can also download here

I'm trying out some new styles (yeah, there's a heavy techno influence, but also FIVE electric guitars and one accoustic guitar, so just chill out.)

All the performances, programming, mixing, writing etc. are credited to me, joe the derelict.? ??

Let me know what you think, even if you hate it.

Sorry.. but I didn't like it. It's not that I don't like that kind of music.. I like the genre when it's more musical, instead of just a beat and some lyrics talked/sung on it.

Thanks man!!? I think my vocals are the biggest thing I need to keep improving.? Sometime we gotta collaborate on a song that you can do the singing on!

And Skeba, thanks for the feedback, that's cool, I understand.  There is never actually a point where it's just a beat and some vocals spoken on top (in fact, there's usually two or three instruments in addition to the bass line), but obviously it still didn't work for you.

I like it, but I don't love it. I think it would be better without that techno beat and maybey raise the volume of the the other instuments in the mix. It's cool though and since I like it even though I hate techno it must be good

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!  I am gonna increase the guitar sounds a bit, as the vocals are a bit up there right now.  I'm glad you can enjoy it even though you hate techno, that makes me very happy.

thats a pretty cool style of music you got going there.

i love the part from 3mins onwards.

cool intro.....makes me wanna dance weird with fluero sticks and take ecstacy 

however at the beginning......the intro verse, the vocals sound out of tune. i've heard your other songs so i know you can sing........i dunno maybe its intentional or i have bad ears.

generally i fine the vocals to be just.....loud.......and dominating the song. they sound so..........cutting....i'd suggest some reverb or something or putting them further back in the mix. and you could use a vocoder in a part it'd be cool

the music is fucking awesome. my biggest problem is mostly with the vocals.......mainly because of the mix not because of your singing.

Thanks, Oddy!     I'm glad you like the 3 minute part, cause that part was meant to fill the void left of having no guitar solo.

The vocals might be out of tune in the beginning, it's hard for me to tell!  I am going to resing parts of the song, and I'll just include the beginning as well and see if it helps.

I did tweak some settings on the vocals, hopefully they're a bit softer now, with a tiny bit more reverb.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
