The best album this year is easily DTX - One More Sinner. Absolute rock n' roll. Don't buy it if you're a posing loser.
I'm hoping that the Hellacopters or Glucifer will bring something new out this year. If not, I'll find something to abuse.
Rock the fuck on!

I'd have to go with Black Label Society's Mafia as the best to be released this year. There seems to be some good stuff in the works though. L.A. Guns is coming out with an album next month. There are also talks of new albums from Hanoi Rocks, Motley Crue, AC/DC...and you never know when a certain someone is gonna decide to put out a cetain album. Once in a while I expect to go into a record store and Chinese Democracy to just be there. Like he just releases it one day without saying anything about it. How nuts would that be?

Somebody mentioned a possible new album by Dinosaur Jr. That is the first i have heard about that, that will be killer. I love that band. Foo Fighters new double disk is very good, especially disk 2. For a GH compliation Leppard's Rock of Ages is put together really well. Looking forward to VR's new one of course and although i have already heard it Def Leppard's cover album YEAH! is really going to surprise some people it is very good and may just put them back in the spotlight, rare for a cover album to do that but it is that good, especially the MC5 song if that is released as a single, if they can get it past the censors with an edit , this song will be a huge single if it gets any push at all.

Hellacopters new album Rock & Roll Is Dead is very good! First single Everything?s On TV is great, i also liked Before The Fall and No Angel to Lay Me Away a lot. The album was released 3. june in most parts in Europe. And I?ll see them live next weekend! Wahey! More good albums of this year: Sentenced - The Funeral Album Foo Fighters - In Your Honor

The Funeral Album was their last album and the end of the band. More about the band www.sentenced.org, in download-section you can listen "May Today Bacome the Day" from The Funeral Album. Tell me what you think.

I like this thread! Best album to come out this year so far is :- Black Label Society - Mafia... ... This is in addition to DTX - One More Sinner, in fact, lets not count DTX, as it goes without saying.

Ok, I've finally found an album released this year worth mentioning:
Gorillaz - Demon Days
Loved it from the beginning and it just keeps getting better.
