There was this chick I was good friends from school. I wanted to go out with her soooo bad.  Then I was  quiet and always kept to myself, so yeah I was an outkast, now do girls hate that? Here is where I feel I blew it. She was sure that she was that good friend to discuss my life problems with her which was true cuz I had trouble dwelling over my tough past. Just how she was so nice and how much I had in common with her, I thought I was the lucky one. I asked her out but she said no cuz she fell in love with another dude. So have I caught this mind game girls trick dudes with because they're afraid to be mean?

i have had allot of my good guys friends ask me out, and i said no to all of them.. i didnt want to loose the relationship that we had... and now we are like brother and sister... me Simon, Cameron and JD. And they all asked me out.

i dont think that it was a mind game hun... simply because if she really didnt want to hear what you had to say about your "life problems" then she would simply try and change the subject... or make an excuse to leave the conversation

my friends come to me for comfort all the time.. and these are male friends.... i listen and give the advise that may help them, and they could very well have developed feelings for me... but i never gave them the impression that i wanted anything more... when girls want something more out of the friendship they will often be quite clear about it...

for instance, touching you all the time when you are speaking to eachother.. on the arm, leg, shoulder..

you will also see in thier body lanuage- which is one real obvious way to know wether somone is interested.

looks.. you no that look.. everyone knows it.... and you shouldnt miss it ( if you are looking for the look) if that makes scense.. hehe

bragging, they will do and say things to impress you so that you will take notice of them

and im sure there are more but i cant think of them at the momment...

Also Mike if she is an outgoing young girl then you may very well not be thier type, i am outgoing and i like to have a boyfriend that is not allways reserved, a man that will say random things to make me laugh even when it is in public  ( as long as it isnt too embarrasing) but i would make exeptions...
But everyone has different types of people they find actractive. You just have to desifer what kind of person you are looking for...

so say you want someone reserved and smart with an imagination- go to the libary... or an internet cafe...

if you want to meet someone that likes to work in a team - join a sport like volleyball, or a sport where females play with the males.

Someone that likes the same things as you.. try to check out the paper or maybe the internet dating sites like Hi5, or one of the other ones that are floating around on the internet... even sites like this one too....

You will find her... but often good things come to those that wait,i often land a boyfriend or meet a fantastic guy when i am not really looking for one.. but yeah you aint going to get a chick whilst sitting at home on the computer so go out there and chech out your options..

by the way.... school girls suck.. ( no offence to any school girls on this site)

Agree with sakib!, Anyway it's tru what gunner_girl said about the body language you can tell a lot by that I use to flirt with one of my coworkers and one night when we were at a party we were alcoholic influeciated and then the things that I just though could be just my imagination turned out to be real, so yeah we have to open our eyes for every girl that pass us by cause she could be the next GF

depends on what kind of chick they are.... i am very open i think things should be said if they need too you know.. i voice my opinions all the time... and even if i no that it might hurt someone i still do it, but in a gentle reassuring way, so they dont feel like an emotional wreck... if you no wat i mean.. i do it / say it gently. But with me it totally depends on the subject, i really dont like lying to people

but yeah you get ALLOT of chicks that will be too afraid to hurt thier male friends feelings,

no one likes to see thier mate upset you no.....

Hmm well speaking from a girls experience, guys are always quick to thinking that girls like them romantically.  It has happened tons of times to me, where I get to be comfortable around a guy so I dont mind acting goofy and acting like myself and have good convorsation back and forth, in depth and intimate if you will- convorsation.  But then they confuse it with, 'oh she must like me a lot, lemme ask her out', and of course I dont wanna be mean an be like NO, but you can get intimately friends with someone without having romantic feelings or attraction.  It's called, having good deep friendship with someone, but being of the opposite sex- it confuses things, because man and woman are naturally supposed to have different connection than a girl and girl friend would have a boy and boy friend, there's a different bond, but just because that bond is different doesnt mean it's always romantic.  Does that make sense?  Girls dont lie, girls just enjoy company of boys and flirting, (which can be misleading), and boys are quick to think every girl who looks at them want them.  And as bad as this sounds, a lot of girls cant stand the thought of the guy not liking them so they try to get him to like her even though they have no intentions on liking them back.  I think it's the subcious need to be wanted.

sometimes they dont take it to well but most of them do cos they are all out going like me, and realise that there are plenty of fish in the sea... they just have to try and get em to bike the hook, you no  dangle a bit of bait hehe

You know, yeah, sometimes they think that they could be hurting themself just as you too. Tha bad thing is when they really like you and they don't wanna tell you so not to ruin the "friendship", but if I go on I'll have to explain why they do and I don't know that.

Yeah it is confusing, but hey, that's how it goes.  That's just how it will be, and how it always will be.  I tend to find that, a lot of girls (myself included) get really shy around the guy they like.  It always happens where I get "flirty" with the guy I dont like, right in front of the one I do, but Im really shy towards the guy I like, then they both think I like the guy Im being flirty towards.  But it's something uncontrollable because the entire time in my head, Im thinkin, WHY cant I talk to the guy I like like this and WHY am I talking to this other guy like this?!  So for me, if I act flirty then I probably dont like you that way, if Im shy then I do.

About the Dave Chapelle thing haha.... just because you dress half naked doesnt mean you are gonna get naked.  People like feeling sexy and people like feeling wanted, an they dress that way to get both, and they are satisfied with ONLY that.  I dress revealing and I'll be the first to say it's a slutty outfit, but if you look good in it then you feel good, so why not wear it.
