My babys gotta locomotive

« on: August 07, 2005, 09:08:26 PM »

I have never posted to much but i cant honestly say ive come to this site everyday for the last  4 years i remember all the rumors and the excitment that was circulating in 2002, and even the excitiment after the new years shows. But in the last few years (2) theres been no news at all.
Its very frustrating and difficult being a GNR fan at this point.  Axl is my favorite performer and songwriter of all time next too bob dylan  and i have waited for some news or clues towards what direction tis new album  is gonna be and when its gonna come out. Ive waited patiently, and its soo hard to watch all my friends whos favorite bands keeep commmin with new cd's such as the white strips, and foo fighters. It killled me to watch motley crue come out with their greatest hit and act like they were the kings of heavy metal when we all KNOW GNR kicked everyones ass out of the water, and started the revolution that turned against gay bands like posion warrant and soo forth.
AXL im bagging YOu give off some information or somethng to give me some hope, your music has done soo much for me and your lyrics have given me gooosebumps on many ocassions, when i hear the bootlegs of madagascar i just get soo excited the emotion that u give off is remarkable. Ive never seen AXL live i was only in grade 3 when use your illusion came out but when i seen november rain that young i was hooked on GNR bought all their CD's twice even the greatest hits, in High school whenever a GNR song was played at a dance everyone would yell my name cause they knew i was crazy for them, i even got welcome to the jungle as our high school hockey teams warm up music. AXL ive stood up for u and supported since the day i was introduced to ur music and All the people that come to this site also have tremondously have been influenced by you, please give us some hope or some informtation on this new album, your one of the most prolific song writers of the last 20 years and soo much has happened in the world in the last 14 or soo years. Id do anything to meet you and tak to you as would any GNR fan. But please give us some hope or some sort of new news,  I know u dont owe me anything cause your music has done alot for me, through famil deaths and relationships but even though i never meet you i feel like im some what connected to you and maybe thats just the skill of being an amazing songwriter and performer but Axl show the world and ur fans  your masterpiece and if you dont then give us an interview or something id even conduct it myself as a fan instead of a media  personality dangnrtully@hotmail.com
Axl and GNR fans the last two years have been long we have lived our life and enjoyed im sure, but atleast to me life would be a tad bit sweeter with some freash new Axl and GNR tunes to add to it.

newsssssssss sooon pleasssee

I think Axl has destroyed his career 99%, how the fuck can he continue after the shit that happened in 2002? I'm sorry , you're dreaming a dream that can't come true if you believe he'll once again become the biggest frontman ever.

The only thing I recommend you wish to happen for Axl is to rest in the grave he dug for his shattered career.

I'm going down as the hair falls from my head with disapointment, I wait and wait still not sign of Axl, still the hair continues to fall. I'm not feeling sorry for myself but for those who haven't seen Axl live. Wow, so here I sit listening to Ozzy's shot in the dark, rembering running down the freeway, 19 years old, stopped in traffic giving everybody bong hits, headed to the GNR concert, Irvin meadows Ca. My life was so easy back in the day, Now Ive got teenagers of my own, its been that fucken long! Life goes by, then we die.

We really need something don't we....news from Axl's camp, the release would be nice..  God we say these things over and over...If it doesn't come out this year then I totally agree that this album doesn't exist and isn't even close to being finished.

DTJ, I completely agree. Its put up or shut up time for Axl. People are truly fed up. If the album still isnt finished, he's gonna have to release CD as demos or something. His career and legacy is on the line. If Jan 2006 comes and we get a lame excuse from Merck, its over.

I hate to say it but I just don't think it's gonna happen...  I may get slammed but I think Mercks statement was left wide open for a..."I never did say it was gonna be released this year"

Yeah, Merck will try to weazel his way out of it, but its not gonna work. You cant make a bold statement about 2005 being the year of GNR without there being consequences. If he wants to be taken seriously, he better beg Axl to at least put a song on a soundtrack. This is probably when 'Zodiac' will come into play.

The best thing for Axl to do at this point is NOT TO TALK. Mystery is one of the biggest draws to this man, and always has been. Even more so now, if he ever decides to come out of hiding that is.

Amen yes

It's been a long time now that I've stopped waiting on Axl and CD... though I still believe in the guy. I just won't spend my life waitin' on an hypothetical album that might just never come out  no

At least we got some of the new stuffs... But 2002 is so far away now...Axl's transforming into a ghost myth... Cry
