Hi everyone, how are you doing?

I didn't really know where to post this topic, and I don't know, if you have already discussed about it in the past, But I thought that it would be interesting to know, what Axl thinks, about  Velvet Revolver, if he has ever talked about it (wich I doubt), and if he likes the album or what He might think about it, because I think he bought it, at least for Curiosity, he is only human remember it -- even when he is one of the greatest frontmen of all times -- well thanks for taking the time to read this.

I honestly think Axl is happy for the ol' guys, he's glad that they are out there doing what they love, rocking off ,living the life or whatever and making money off of it at the same time....

It's much bigger and much more important for Axl tho, he's not doing it for any of the same reasons as the slash n' duff. Axl is more like Izzy, if it's not right, it's not worth doing.

I agree, e.  Axl wants to be the best and be remembered for being the best where the others just love playing.  I think that's what you were saying.  Tongue

i dunno dudes. Undecided
if Axl likes 'em, i thinks it's highly unlikely he'll let on he does.
I don't think he really cares what they're up to, but it would be nice to know he's happy for them.

Slash says he heard from a mutual friend of Axl's that he "wished he had produced it". Probably a jab at the production of Contraband, not a compliment of the record.

I remember in a thread from a few months ago someone said Axl had wished he could have produced Contraband. I don't know if its true or not. That would have been an interesting wait.

Honestly, I would like to think that Axl still care about the former GNR boys, it would be amazing, because that would mean, an aproachment for a Reunion...   anyway, I hate when "People" say,  Slash, Duff, and the other guys, dont do it for the music, and they do it just for fun, that is bullshit, their Music, is impresive, really interesting, and it touches your heart, I think some of their songs are even deeper than what Axl sung, in 2002... "just a matter of opinion"

I am sure he does, but will he ever voice it?
In the meantime I couldn't care less.....
Slash,Duff and matt put it out there for the fans and are respected for it while Axl keeps us all waiting and waiting and what for?No one knows if CD will ever see the light of day....

I would love to hear Axl's opinion on VR.   I think in public on interveiws if he comes back, he prolly will be respectfull but you never know one night at a show when he is feeling a rant coming on, what he might say.   I think in all honesty, he prolly does really respect what they have done, as far as him liking it, that's another story considering the direction he has his own band going in.  Axl has very diversified taste so maybe he does like their music, then again maybe he doesn't.    Sure would love to hear him talk about though.
