I really feel for steve, everyone in gnr had their own personal demons.. Getting kicked for drug use from gnr is like being mad at a chinese guy for being short.

So steve is bitter and says some fucked up things.. Maybe he has never found closure over the issue and feels he was screwed.. Only he knows what the others were doing while he was getting used as a scape goat..
