Hi all !
I was reading a guitar magazine (I know I should remember the name, but I have forgotten it today) it has Slash on the cover, with some other players (I had never heard about any of the other guys) and in that interview Slash says that he is doing some kind of a project with Stevie Wonder, and they had already recorded, and during this summer they would do the pre-production and it would be released in the winter 2005/2006. So that's cool for all of us who dig both mr Wonder and mr Slash !!   ok

That's great news, I can't wait to hear what he and Slash come up with. Slash is a fan of Stevie and I'm sure Slash won't have to put up with any crap like he did when he worked with that rod "wanker" stewart.

From what I read in that article they were going to do pre-productions on a couple of songs, but they dident say exactly how many songs...   You know the Stevie Wonder song, "Superstition", if you listen to that tune, and then the Slash/Lenny Kravitz song, "Always on the run" from Lenny's Mama Said album, you can easily hear where some of Slash's inspirations come from,,

Maybe this material was recorded for Slash's solo album he was working before VR started. He said it was going to be a reallly cool album with a lot of guests on it and people playing together that you normally wouldn't expect playing together.

I hope he'll release that album someday, it's got stuff with Izzy on it aswell Wink

No, because in that interview he talks about meeting Stevie Wonder and play with him for the first time on the Grammy's (with Bono,Alica Keys and the others you know?) and that he talked with Mr Wonder about recording something that night, and did so a couple of months later..

Stevie rules!! This is such a better choice than one of Slash's previous collaborations, a certain child molesting singer who shall remain nameless!

You don't know Slash very well.
Slash wants to play music, all kinds of music with all kinds of artists. Besides, if Stevie Wonder asked you to play, would you say no?

HEY how about naming some of the other collaborations? you know the ones that are cool instead of focusing on MJ which was still awesome playing by Slash.

Stevie needs to lose some weight. Anyone see him on LIve 8? No one told him his ass was bigger than Oprah.
