Here Today...

« on: July 28, 2005, 10:01:03 PM »

Remember when guitar magazines actually showcased players who played solos?   Sick to death of four-chord acoustic noodling by hippified crusties?   Looking for more than someone bending the same note over four bars during their retro-80's-new-wave "rock song".    Us too.

We are on the hunt for a young guitar player who has the signs of an Eddie Van Halen, Vernon Reid, Randi Rhoades, Steve Vai, Satriani, Slash, Kirk Hammett...people who can play.  If you are what we are looking for then you've got a piece of it all.  You can shred, you're a good writer and you think that you've got the It Factor, even if you don't know quite what to do with it.  Our dream is to build a new band around this person and take on the world.

"We" are a major management company with many platinum artists of all shapes and sizes.  What we hope to find is a diamond in the rough, somebody who knows that they are better than where they are from and what they're currently doing.   You needen't come to us with a band in tow...we are not opposed to putting something together around you (if you've got what it takes).  We're looking for someone young, who is eager to work and who wants to tour like crazy.

This is a shot in the dark that hopefully hits a mark.  If interested, please reply with an email that tells us about you.   Any links to recorded music, pictures, websites or even press would help.

Please direct all inquiries to shred@nettwerk.com

Maybe you should be looking for a band, instead of one guitarist. Just becuase you have a great guitarist, does not mean you will sell records. You need the whole package.  The problem with the music scene today, is that corporate morons looking to get a band together are no different then those idiots who put the Backstreet boys together.
