But if a song is used to promote the movie and the movie flops, that hurts the band a bit...

Well if the opposite is true then Fantastic Four may help them as it made 56 mil this weekend and could have some legs for a few weeks just based on being a family movie alone.

Who the hell buys soundtracks anyway??? I mean once in awhile there is a good one like Pulp Fiction I guess. I do hope Come On Come In is on the next album though because I really really love it and I am not buying a soundtrack for one song. Although I did for "Set Me Free" but that was VR's first release...

well I dont know whether the fantastic 4 is a good movie or not, but certainly they are Number 1 at the box office this week... regardless of that situation the music is excellent, just talking about velvet revolver's...

Not to much of a flop as they are set to make a sequel.  The FF is at 72 million as of yesterday and this weekend could see a big push for it.

The Hulk was too CGI though and was very long and boring

FF is more of a fun film and kids will love it.

Plus with The Hulk Set Me Free wasnt played till the credits, most people left before it came on

The new VR song was played within the first 15 minutes.

No one's mentioned Oh My God yet. But I haven't heard it or seen the film (End of Days wasn't it?).

Because it has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this thread!

Timothy my friend I believe you were wrong about Fantastic Four

100,000,000 dollars in 2 weeks

it was 3rd place and still made over 22 million over the weekend

this movie is a certified hit.
