Could sombody give me some methods to improve my ear?
I've been playing guitar for a half year, but still have problems to tune it.
I know the method but I can't make a difference between the lower and higher notes.
Any advices?

here's my advice, learn as many songs as you can (with tabs or by your teacher), and i mean whole songs and really pay attention to where on the fretboard it is and have the song down pat, and know the song front to back, just remember the songs like they were your own

this takes longer, for your ears to learn, but it's well worth it, i would rather do this than pay 300 dollars for that stupid stuff u see in the back of Guitarworld or something, just listen listen listen
